Our Work
Guided nature experiences and woodland heritage journeys across Latvia's most remarkable forest ecosystems
Guided Dendrology Trails Program
We developed a structured 12-week dendrology program for 24 participants (average age 68) covering tree identification, forest ecology, and seasonal woodland changes. Small groups of 6-8 walkers per session with expert instruction adapted to comfortable pacing for retirees.
Sculpture Heritage Walks Documentation
Curated and documented 18 wooden sculptures across Tērvete pine forest trails with historical context and artist information. Created accessible walking routes combining cultural exploration with forest immersion—perfect for retirees seeking meaningful outdoor engagement.
Accessibility-Focused Woodland Experiences
Redesigned and enhanced 5 major forest trails with accessibility features including rest benches every 400 meters, improved signage, and reduced elevation gain. Welcomed 156 visitors in our first season, including those with mobility considerations and varying fitness levels.
Seasonal Tree Identification Workshops
Launched quarterly workshops teaching seasonal tree identification across 14 native and rare species. Over 30 participants completed the 8-week program, gaining practical skills in bark texture recognition, leaf morphology, and seasonal marker identification specific to Latvia's forest ecosystems.
